I found Yoga in my twenties in the form of the book about gymnastics published in USSR in 1985. The word „Yoga“ wasn´t mentioned of course. That´s how I started to discover the world of asanas and their benefits. It was a simple pleasure to do some stretching in the mornings and evenings. Later I learned more and used gentle practices before and after my 5 children were born. My practice and understanding deepened in retreats in Russia. Asanas and breath exercises helped me restore my health and maintain a mental balance in life challenges. The YogaBody Yoga Teachers College gave me a good foundation and structure how to teach these ancient practices in our modern world. Now I am a psychologist/coach, teaching self-regulation techniques to my stressed and burned out clients and colleagues individually and in little groups. They found the practices also really helpful. That´s why I love to share.
